Inside Kazan cathedral was a wedding, and wedding pairs could be seen all over the city

Same time there was a world economy summit, which meant a huge amount of milice guarding the city. Also many times the streets were closed totally from other cars, and after 5 minutes a convoy drove by with high speed and using the whole width of the broad street. Here Chinese visitors convoy. Also our president Tarja Halonen was present in the summit.

And in the end is an ambulance, just in case...
Don't know if this was typical, but with this amount of police in the city it was very peaceful. But what amazed me was how clean the city was, even no cigarette butts on the streets!
