Huaxi-S80 SLR w PearlRiver SWY-1 58mm/f:2 -They developed an improvement model from Pearl River 201 and called it Huaxi 80 which also uses Minolta MD mount. It seems it is designed in the late of 1980's. and went to market in the early of 1990's. Its selling was bad because of influence by the foreign camera importing. The quality of this camera is not very perfect even though there is the certificate of quality on the body. It is sold as is. In view of the quality of this camera, we could understand why the SOEs will dead. Better finder than other DF-clones. #0108703

Huaxi-S90 SLR w Cimar 50mm/f:2 -Huaxi 90 was produced by a famous defense industry factory which located in south-west of China. Their first successful product is Pearl River 201 which used to be one of the best 135 SLR cameras in China in 1980’s. Unfortunately, their product can not be called "Pearl River" again after the Trade Mark Law issued because the "Pearl River" is belong to the Guangdong Photo Equipment Company. So they choice Huaxi as the logo, which means western of China They developed an improvement model from Pearl River 201 and called it Huaxi 80 which also uses Minolta MD mount. In the early of 1990’s, they begin to design a new model that is called Huaxi 90. It looks like Nikon FG but the mount is PK. It is said only less than 1000 outfits of Huaxi 90 were produced and never sold in market because of influence by the foreign camera importing. Same as most SOEs in China, the camera producer--the defense industry factory has met terrible problems since the early of 1990's. It had to stop producing a few years ago and bankrupted recently.
